Our story

Kasi Peters and Adriane Ransom met in early 2013 while training to become SENG-Model Parent Group Facilitators. They were passionate about giftedness and wanted a way to offer support to a community that so severely lacks understanding.

Kasi is a music therapist and homeschooling parent to two highly to profoundly gifted children. She spends much of her time researching the special needs of the gifted. Adriane is a pediatric occupational therapist and owner of Bloom Pediatrics in West Los Angeles. She is also the mother of four children, three of whom have been identified as highly to profoundly gifted. Since meeting in 2013, Kasi and Adriane have facilitated discussion groups for parents of gifted children and have presented to schools and parent groups about the social and emotional implications of giftedness. Together, they helped to found the Westside of Los Angeles Gifted Group, an in-person and online community of friendship and support for families with gifted children.

We understand and care deeply about those in the gifted community.
