Stress and Anxiety in Gifted Families

This presentation and discussion will focus on characteristics of giftedness and the unique causes of anxiety and depression. In addition, we will discuss resources, community supports and the unique roles families play in decreasing these feelings of anxiety and depression. Topics will include peer relations, asynchrony, perfectionism, over-excitabilities and characteristics of giftedness.
