Adriane is the owner and director at Bloom Pediatrics. She is an occupational therapist with expertise in working with children ages birth through 12 years old. Her specialty areas include Autism Spectrum Disorders, executive functioning, feeding challenges, gifted and twice-exceptional children, gross motor skills and coordination, handwriting and fine motor skills, Sensory Processing Disorders, self-regulation, and social skills support. Adriane has advanced training in Sensory Integration Theory and Practice and holds an Advanced Practice Certification in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation, and Intervention (SWC). She is trained in DIR/Floortime, SENG-Model Parent Groups, and is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. To further support the families she works with, Adriane has completed Special Education Advocate Training through the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates. She uses a multifaceted approach that incorporates this extensive background and experience in working with children and their families. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and four children.

Adriane holds a special place in her heart for children who are gifted or twice-exceptional (2e). She is passionate about advocacy and wants to help others to deepen their understanding of giftedness and 2e. She received her Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Boston University, with a focus on programming and supports for children who are gifted or 2e. As a SENG-Model Parent Group Master Facilitator, Adriane offers support to parents raising children who are gifted or 2e. Her efforts in this area were recognized as she was presented with the 2018 SMPG Facilitator of the Year award. In 2015 she co-founded the Westside of Los Angeles Gifted Group, an in-person and online community of friendship for families with gifted children. In 2017 she co-founded Square Pegs to support families looking to meet their gifted children’s educational and social-emotional needs through parent groups, individualized parent support, educational consulting, and community presentations.
